The New Zealand national rugby team in the under-85kg weight category arrived in Sri Lanka last night (20) for an official tour.

The 38-member squad, including players and officials, landed at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake aboard SriLankan Airlines flight UL-605 from Melbourne, Australia.

The team is scheduled to play two matches against the Sri Lanka national side on April 25 at the Colombo Racecourse Grounds and on May 3 at the Nittawela Stadium in Kandy.

Officials from the Sri Lanka Rugby Union were present at the airport to welcome the visiting team.
