A special traffic plan will be in effect around St. Anthony’s Shrine in Kochchikade tomorrow, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, to facilitate the special commemorative service marking the 7th anniversary of the Easter Sunday terror attacks. The Police Headquarters has announced that these traffic arrangements are necessary to ensure the smooth conduct of the religious ceremony and the safety of all participants.
The special traffic plan will commence at 7:00 AM tomorrow and will remain in place until the conclusion of the commemorative service.
During this period, vehicular movement on roads surrounding St. Anthony’s Shrine will be restricted or diverted as required by the prevailing situation. The police have advised motorists to be aware of these temporary changes and to use alternative routes where possible to minimize inconvenience.
