An Army soldier has died following an ancident at the Maduruoya Army Training School yesterday (17) afternoon, when a wall of an old building suddenly collapsed.
The deceased has been identified as a 37-year-old Lance Corporal from Madiwela, Janakagama, according to police.
His body has been placed at the Polonnaruwa Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination.
The Aralaganwila Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
