School term break announced for Sinhala and Tamil new year

The Ministry of Education has announced that the second phase of the first school term for government and government-approved schools concludes today (April 10).
In line with the upcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations, schools will be closed for vacation starting today until April 19.
Accordingly, the second school term is scheduled to commence on Monday, April 20.
