The arrests were made over allegations that the two officials caused a loss of Rs. 14.32 million to the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation.
They are accused of recruiting six employees outside the approved cadre of the corporation and attaching them to the personal staff of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.
Further investigations into the incident are underway.
