The Commission said that say the Chairman allegedly approved a building plan on state-owned land in the Magoda Grama Niladhari Division in 2021, bypassing legal procedures under the Urban Development Authority Act No. 41 of 1978. The approval is claimed to have given an undue advantage to a private party.
The suspect is scheduled to be produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court.
