According to the NWSDB, water supply will be suspended from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Zone 02, covering Homagama town and surrounding localities.
The areas impacted by the temporary water cut include Homagama town, Wekanda, Pinketha Road, Walawwa Road, Gemunu Mawatha, Athurugiriya Road, Galavila-watta, Niyandagala, Magammana, Mahakatuwana, Deniya, and Diyagama.
Residents in these areas are advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid inconvenience during the disruption period.
The NWSDB has not specified the reason for the water cut but stated that normal water supply will resume after 8:00 p.m. tomorrow.
