The revision sees the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder in the Colombo District climb by Rs. 1,070 to Rs. 5,700, while a 5 kg cylinder has been increased by Rs. 418, now priced at Rs. 2,280.
The company attributed the hike to prevailing market conditions, noting that the adjustment comes despite internal efforts to absorb costs. It also stated that it will continue to monitor global price movements and pledged to pass on any potential price reductions to consumers if market conditions improve.
