Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in most parts of the island after 2.00 p.m.
Fairly heavy falls above75 mm are likely at some places in Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, North-central and Eastern provinces.
Showers may occur in Eastern province and in Hambantota district in the morning too.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and North-central provinces and in Kurunegala and Vavuniya districts during the early hours of the morning.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the sea areas off the coast extending from Hambantota to Trincomalee via Pottuvil and Batticaloa.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the other sea areas around the island during the evening or night.

Winds will be variable in direction. Wind speed will be (15-25) kmph.
State of Sea:
The sea areas around the island will be slight.
Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
