Sri Lanka’s tourism sector continues its strong recovery, with 175,661 tourists arriving in the country during the first 29 days of March 2026, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) reported.
According to the latest SLTDA figures, a total of 732,316 visitors have entered Sri Lanka from January 1 to March 29, 2026, reflecting a steady growth compared to previous months.
The majority of arrivals came from key international markets, including India, United Kingdom, Russia, China, Germany, and Australia, highlighting continued global interest in Sri Lanka as a tourist destination.
