Attention was drawn to the functioning of the Office of the Commissioner General of Essential Services and to the guidelines issued by the office to manage the prevailing fuel and electricity crisis in the aftermath of the Ditwah disaster situation.
Discussions were also held on the Government’s approach to addressing the fuel and electricity crisis.PMD reported.
Recalling the long-standing bilateral relations between the United States and Sri Lanka, extensive discussions were also held on further expanding these ties in a mutually beneficial manner in the future.
