According to the department, the provinces of Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Eastern, Northern, North Central, and North Western, as well as some areas in the Monaragala District, may experience these elevated heat conditions.
Meanwhile, the Department of Meteorology further stated that a change in the prevailing dry weather conditions is expected after the day following tomorrow.
