The directive follows reports received by the Ministry indicating that many officers have been unable to obtain their scheduled leave due to heavy workloads.
Authorities noted that in some instances, officers had not been given even a single day off within a month as a result of their duties.
Taking these concerns into account, the Ministry has advised the IGP to take appropriate steps to address the issue.
Meanwhile, police officers who were previously deployed at fuel stations have been withdrawn from certain locations following the implementation of the QR code system.
