Police have arrested six foreign nationals for residing in Sri Lanka without valid visas during a special operation conducted in the Malwatuhiripitiya police division.
The arrests took place on in the Warapalana area on Thursday. Acting on specific information, a team of officers from the Malwatuhiripitiya Police Station carried out a raid that led to the detention of the six suspects who were found to be staying in the country illegally.
According to police reports, all six suspects are Bangladeshi nationals Their ages have been identified as 21, 23, 34, and 41.
