Roman Marshavin is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow morning (26) for high-level diplomatic discussions on oil and coal supply.

Representing Russia, he is expected to focus on strengthening fuel supply to Sri Lanka’s energy sector, exploring long-term agreements, and enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

During the visit, several high-level meetings with Sri Lankan authorities are planned, with particular attention on identifying sustainable solutions to meet the country’s current energy demands.

Government sources indicate that the visit is likely to serve as an important step toward deepening energy sector ties between Sri Lanka and Russia.
