According to the Department, applications can be submitted online from March 24 to April 24, 2026, through the official websites www.doenets.lk or www.onlineexams.gov.lk/eic. All candidates are required to follow the instructions provided when completing the application process.
School candidates studying in government and government-approved private schools must submit their applications through their respective principals, while private candidates are required to apply individually using their National Identity Card number. Principals have been instructed to use the username and password issued to their schools when submitting applications.
The Department further advised all applicants to print a copy of the completed application after submission and keep it safely for future reference. Officials stressed that applications submitted after the closing date will not be considered.
