Police said the suspect was arrested on March 22 by officers from the Melsiripura Police Station after he obstructed traffic and behaved in an indecent and threatening manner towards vehicles and passengers travelling along the road.
The suspect, a resident of the 50 Acres area in the Melsiripura Police Division, had reportedly caused fear among road users by standing on the roadway and preventing vehicles from passing.
He was produced before court today and ordered to be remanded until March 31, police said.
