In the Kurunegala Police Division, the commemoration ceremony was held with dignity in front of the Divisional Police Superintendent’s Office. The event was led by Senior Deputy Inspector General Ajith Rohana, who is in charge of the North Western Province. Senior officers and a large number of police personnel also attended the ceremony.
The event paid tribute to police officers from the North Western Province who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Family members of fallen officers, as well as disabled police personnel, were invited to participate. During the ceremony, the Sri Lanka Police expressed its deep gratitude and सम्मान to these heroes.
Floral tributes were laid in remembrance of the deceased officers, and the gathering observed moments of solemn reflection, honoring their bravery and service to the nation.
