Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in Galle, Matara and Kurunegala districts during the early hours of the morning.

Condition of Rain:
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the sea areas off the coast extending from Colombo to Hambantota via Galle during the evening or night.
Winds:
Winds will be North-easterly or variable in direction. Wind speed will be (20-30) kmph. Wind speed can increase up to 40 kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar.
State of Sea:
The sea areas off the coasts extending from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar will be moderate at times. The other sea areas around the island will be slight.
Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
