Police seized five swords and 40 grams of Ice, estimated to be worth around Rs. 800,000, from the suspects’ possession.
The arrests were made this morning (21) by the Mount Lavinia Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau at a housing complex near the Ratmalana Special Economic Center.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the suspects maintain close connections with organized crime figures identified as Ellawala Dharmasiri Perera, also known as “Alto Dhamma,” and Kuruwita Arachchilage Kavidu Dhananjaya, both believed to be operating from abroad.
The group includes a ქალი suspect, and all individuals are due to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court.
