Meanwhile, fuel issuance is currently governed by the odd-even system based on the last digit of vehicle number plates. Today being an even-numbered day, only vehicles with even last digits are allowed to refuel.
Digital Economy Ministry adviser Sumudu Ratnayake stated that QR code-related issues have been largely resolved. However, nearly a week since the QR code system began, some vehicle owners have still been unable to obtain fuel.
