The session will begin from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM with parliamentary business as outlined under Standing Orders 22(1) to 22(6). This will be followed by a session from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM allocated for oral questions requiring answers.
From 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, time has been set aside for questions raised under Standing Order 27(2).
Subsequently, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Parliament is expected to debate regulations under the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Act, after which a decision on their approval will be taken.
In the afternoon, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, the Opposition is scheduled to move an adjournment debate on the topic “Current Global Situation,” which will be taken up for discussion in the House.
