He described the initiative as a key component of Sri Lanka’s broader push toward a digital economy and smart tourism.
The Minister called on hotels, tour operators, and travel agencies to actively engage with the platform, stressing that collaboration between government and industry is crucial for sustainable growth. He also highlighted the need to manage traveller data within a national framework to improve planning and promotion of Sri Lanka as a leading global destination.
