Despite global concerns over possible oil price increases and supply chain disruptions, the state-run corporation said it has released large quantities of fuel to filling stations islandwide during the initial days of the crisis.
According to official data released by the CPC, about 57,000 metric tons of diesel and 47,000 metric tons of petrol were distributed through the national fuel station network within the first 10 days of the Middle East conflict.
The corporation also assured the public that sufficient fuel stocks are currently available to meet national demand.
However, authorities urged the public to use fuel responsibly, noting that the global energy market remains volatile due to ongoing geopolitical tensions in major oil-producing regions.
