The Ministry of Digital Economy has issued a public notice outlining the process for obtaining fuel following the full restoration of the National Fuel Pass (QR) system.

Authorities said the QR code system used to obtain fuel quotas is now fully operational and urged vehicle owners to follow the required steps to ensure smooth fuel distribution and reduce congestion at filling stations.

Under the system, vehicle owners who already possess a QR code and have not changed their vehicle ownership or registered phone number can continue to use their existing QR code to obtain fuel without any interruption.

Those who previously registered but have lost or deleted their QR code from their mobile phone do not need to register again, provided their phone number and vehicle details remain unchanged. They can log into the system and retrieve their QR code using the one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number.

However, individuals who have not registered previously, those who have newly purchased vehicles, or those who are no longer using the phone number linked to their previous registration must complete a new registration in the system.

Authorities requested vehicle owners to follow these guidelines carefully to minimize queues at fuel stations and ensure efficient service.

For further information or assistance regarding the process, the public can contact the Government Information Center via the hotline 1919.
