The Colombo High Court bench of three judges has scheduled the presentation of evidence by the defense on March 26 in the case filed against former Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and former Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara.
The case concerns allegations that both officials failed to prevent the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks despite receiving prior intelligence warnings.
When the case was called today, both Hemasiri Fernando and Pujith Jayasundara appeared before the court.
