According to the authority, a total of 623,651 tourists arrived in Sri Lanka between January 1 and March 11.
The highest number of arrivals was reported from India, with 115,772 visitors recorded during the period.
Other major tourist markets include 66,164 visitors from the United Kingdom, 56,114 from Russia, 45,939 from Germany, and 39,725 from China.
A significant number of tourists have also arrived from countries such as France, Australia and the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, the authority noted that 66,996 foreign tourists visited the island during the first 11 days of March alone, indicating a steady flow of international arrivals.
