Minister Herath requested India’s support to help maintain fuel availability for Sri Lanka in order to reduce any possible impact on the country’s energy supply caused by instability in the region.
According to the media statement issued by the minister’s office, the Indian government has responded positively to the request and has informed that the necessary steps and actions are already being taken.
