The patient stated that he was treated at the hospital yesterday (11) after being injured in an accident.

Following X-ray examinations, medical staff reportedly cleaned his wounds and applied plaster. However, he claimed that the plaster did not remain in place for long and came off shortly after leaving the treatment area.

The patient said he returned to the unit and informed the nurses about the issue. He alleged that the staff had informed him that the department only had small plasters available at the time.

He further claimed that he was advised to purchase additional bandages or dressing materials from an outside pharmacy if he required stronger or larger plasters.

The patient stated that the situation highlights the need for authorities to ensure that adequate medical supplies are available at major emergency treatment units in the country.
