The patient stated that he visited the hospital yesterday (11) following an accident and was treated after undergoing X-ray examinations.
According to the patient, medical staff applied plaster to the wounds, but he had informed the nurses to secure the plaster properly as it might come off easily.
However, the patient claimed that the plaster had already come off before he could leave the hospital premises at around 5.45 p.m.
He said he returned to the emergency department and informed the nurses about the situation. The patient alleged that he was then told to purchase additional plaster from a pharmacy outside the hospital if needed.
He further claimed that only small plasters were available at the emergency unit and that larger dressing materials were not in stock.
The patient has urged the relevant authorities to look into the matter and ensure that adequate medical supplies are available for patients seeking emergency treatment.
