Speaking at a media briefing held today (12) at the Isurupaya premises, the Deputy Minister noted that ensuring safe transport for schoolchildren has been identified as a priority in implementing government policies.
He stated that several initiatives are being implemented to further strengthen the “Sisu Seriya” school transport service, with a focus on enabling students to travel to and from school safely and without physical or mental stress.
The Deputy Minister also emphasized that the service is expected to be expanded further in the future through improved coordination with transport authorities.
