Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa has raised concerns about what he described as selective investigations related to the 2019 Easter Sunday Attacks.
In a statement on X, the MP said the same level of investigation had not been carried out against individuals who allegedly neglected their responsibilities in relation to the attacks.
He further claimed that some individuals mentioned in official commission reports for negligence had later joined the current government and had been appointed to senior positions, while Suresh Salle had been specifically targeted for investigation.
