CMC engineers raise professional concerns at ministry meeting

The meeting brought together Minister Professor Chandana Abeyratne, Colombo Mayor Vraie Cally Balthazaar, and representatives of the CMC Engineers’ Union.

During the discussions, attention was also drawn to the administrative structure of the Colombo Municipal Council and the challenges faced by engineers in carrying out their duties effectively.

The participants emphasized the need to address these concerns to ensure the efficient functioning of the council and improve service delivery to the public.
