According to the department, residents in these areas are advised to remain vigilant as the temperature felt by the human body may reach levels that require caution.
The advisory was issued at 3:30 p.m. on March 8 and will be valid for March 9, the Department of Meteorology stated.
The department has requested the public to take necessary precautions to minimize potential health impacts caused by the hot weather conditions.
People are advised to drink plenty of water and take rest in shaded areas whenever possible. Special attention should be given to elderly individuals and those with illnesses, as they may be more vulnerable to heat-related effects.
Additionally, the advisory warns not to leave small children unattended inside vehicles.
The Department of Meteorology also recommends that the public limit strenuous activities and wear light-colored, loose clothing to reduce the impact of the heat.
