Around 300 women entrepreneurs have been provided with market opportunities through the event.

The two-day market, held today (07) and tomorrow (08) at Matara Beach Park, offers local residents and tourists the opportunity to purchase locally produced goods while supporting women’s entrepreneurship.

Residents and both local and international tourists visiting the Matara area these days have a valuable opportunity to purchase high-quality local products from a single location.

While enjoying an evening walk along the beautiful Matara beach at sunset, visitors can also experience a unique marketplace featuring products carefully crafted by the talented hands of Sri Lanka’s hardworking women entrepreneurs.

The organizing committee warmly invites everyone to visit and enjoy this new experience, celebrating local creativity and supporting homegrown producers in a vibrant coastal setting.

Organizers believe the initiative will help promote women-led businesses and encourage the growth of local products.
