Sri Lanka’s foreign minister Vijitha Herath meets Indian Prime minister

Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Vijitha Herath, has met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to India to participate in the Raisina Dialogue 2026.

The high-level international conference is being held in New Delhi, India, bringing together global leaders, diplomats, and policymakers to discuss key geopolitical and strategic issues.

According to reports, foreign ministers from Bhutan, Cyprus, and Mauritius are also expected to participate in the dialogue.

During the visit, Minister Herath is also scheduled to hold discussions and exchange views with international counterparts on matters related to regional security and cooperation.

The Raisina Dialogue is regarded as India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geoeconomics, attracting prominent leaders and experts from around the world each year
