A second Iranian warship was heading towards Sri Lanka on Thursday, a day after a US submarine destroyed IRIS Dena, an Iranian frigate, killing 87 sailors. Sri Lankan minister Nalinda Jayatissa said the ship was just outside the country's territorial waters.

The vessel was carrying more than 100 crew, sources told AFP, fearing they too could be targeted the same way a sister ship was sunk yesterday, just off Sri Lanka's southern coast. NDTV reported.
