The data show that 253,293 visitors arrived in the country during the first 25 days of February alone, signalling sustained growth momentum across key international markets.

India, the United Kingdom and the Russian Federation emerged as the top source markets between February 1 and 25. Germany, China, France, Poland and Australia were also ranked among the leading contributors during the month.

On a cumulative basis from January 1 to February 25, India recorded the highest number of arrivals with 93,847 visitors. The United Kingdom followed with 57,762 arrivals, while Russia ranked third with 48,312 tourists.

The steady inflow of visitors highlights the continued recovery and resilience of Sri Lanka’s tourism industry, reflecting sustained confidence in the destination among major overseas markets.
