According to the Ambassador, the nurse was slightly injured in the incident and was immediately admitted to hospital for treatment.
In a statement shared via Facebook, he assured that her condition was not serious. After receiving necessary medical treatment from doctors, she was discharged from the hospital.
Ambassador Bandara further noted that she has since been referred back to her place of residence.
