The special press conference was convened to clarify Sri Lanka’s position regarding the current situation in the Middle East. Minister Jayatissa reiterated that Sri Lanka consistently supports peaceful solutions and urges all sides to prioritize diplomacy over warfare.
He further underscored that Sri Lanka’s longstanding foreign policy upholds non-alignment, respect for sovereignty, and the promotion of international peace and security.
