In a special announcement, the Sri Lankan Embassy emphasized that the community should rely only on official sources of information. Sri Lankans are requested to follow the guidance issued by the Government of Saudi Arabia as well as instructions provided by the Sri Lankan Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate General in Jeddah.
The Embassy has also advised nationals to avoid traveling to areas where security advisories have been issued. Individuals are urged to keep all travel documents and identification papers with them at all times.
To ensure the safety and welfare of Sri Lankan citizens, the Embassy has activated 24-hour emergency contact numbers. Sri Lankans in need of assistance can contact the Embassy at +966 54 947 75 67 or +966 56 982 27 00. WhatsApp messages and text communications can be sent to +966 56 975 33 80.
