According to organizers, regional and global juries made up of 31 experienced photojournalists reviewed nearly 60,000 submissions from 3,778 photographers across 141 countries. The rigorous anonymized judging process except for Open Format entries ensured the selection of compelling and impactful visual stories.

The 2025 exhibition features work by 42 photographers, including 30 who documented stories within their own countries, highlighting strong local perspectives on global issues.

The traveling exhibition offers Sri Lankan audiences a chance to experience some of the world’s most influential photojournalism, showcasing stories that capture conflict, resilience, culture, and everyday life across the globe.
