The "Sri Lanka National Energy Efficiency Awards" recognized outstanding contributions by public and private institutions toward energy efficiency in the past year. The awards ceremony, jointly organized by the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority and the Ministry of Energy, carried the theme "Energy Efficiency: Refueling the Economy."
Mr. Jeevaka Thushara of the World Trade Center Colombo received the Best Manager Award, while organizations including the National Cleaner Production Center, Forbes Marshall Lanka, World Trade Center Colombo, BiC, DENTA Manufacture, and MAS Fabrics Thulhiriya were honored with Energy Efficiency Gold Awards.
