The 14-member delegation, comprising both lay and religious representatives, landed at Bandaranaike International Airport from New Delhi on SriLankan Airlines flight UL-192. They were received by Deputy Minister of Tourism Ruwan Ranasinghe.
During their stay, the group is scheduled to visit several prominent Shiva temples in Sri Lanka, including Thiruketheeswaram Temple, Naguleswaram Temple, Koneswaram Temple and Seetha Amman Temple, as well as ancient Shiva temple sites in Polonnaruwa.
The delegation is also expected to hold discussions with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath during their visit.
