Accordingly, a meeting between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Sergio Gor, Special Representative for South and Central Asia of United States President Donald Trump and the United States Ambassador to India, took place this morning (18).
Meanwhile, the President is also scheduled to attend the special dinner reception hosted today (18) by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for heads of state who have arrived in New Delhi to participate in the AI Impact 2026 Summit.
The AI Impact 2026 Summit, aimed at promoting the responsible use of artificial intelligence for the benefit of humankind, is being held at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Hall in New Delhi with the participation of heads of state and leading figures from the global technology sector. President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to address the summit tomorrow (19).
The President is also due to hold a special meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will engage in bilateral discussions with several heads of state who have arrived in New Delhi to attend the summit.
