Deputy PM of UK David Lammy, is scheduled to arrive in SriLanka tomorrow

The United Kingdom has previously extended a range of humanitarian assistance to communities affected by recent crises. As part of his visit, Deputy Prime Minister Lammy is also scheduled to observe ongoing programmes supporting affected communities.

The Deputy Prime Minister of United Kingdom, David Lammy, is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (17) for a one-day official visit.

During his visit, he is expected to hold discussions with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, and Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath. The visit was confirmed by the UK High Commission.

In addition, he is expected to sign an agreement related to the Global Campaign for Child Protection. The signing ceremony will be held tomorrow (17) at the office of the United Nations in Sri Lanka.
