According to police sources, officers proceeded to the location following received information that the suspicious vehicle had been left in the area. Upon arrival, they observed that the vehicle was engulfed in flames.
The car was reportedly found in the Mulkada area of Agaliya, Baddegama.
Police suspect that the murder had been orchestrated by an underworld figure known as “Karandeniya Sudda.” Investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.
