According to the Navy, two individuals who were on board the dinghy at the time of the interception have also been arrested.
During a search of the vessel, naval personnel recovered two bags containing substances suspected to be illegal drugs.
The Navy stated that the dinghy and the two suspects are currently being escorted to shore for further investigation and legal action.
