According to the Ministry, normal services are expected to resume on Monday (16), once the technical issue affecting the Department’s system is fully restored. Authorities also stated that priority will be given to applicants who visited the Department today (12) when operations recommence.
Passport and visa issuance services were temporarily suspended earlier today following a technical malfunction in the Department’s computer system. The disruption impacted the processing of both passports and visas, causing inconvenience to applicants. The Department assured the public that all services will resume once the system restoration is completed on Monday.
