Welcoming the delegation, the Prime Minister congratulated Ms. Cowlin on her appointment and reaffirmed Sri Lanka’s long-standing partnership with the Asian Development Bank. She expressed appreciation for ADB’s continued engagement and support in line with Sri Lanka’s national development priorities.
The Prime Minister also thanked the ADB for its timely assistance following Cyclone Ditwah, highlighting the importance of such support in reducing the immediate impact of natural disasters on affected communities.
